你要使父母歡喜，使生你的快樂
父母生下子女後，直到自己死前都在做幫助子女的事。不論子女年紀或大或小，直到死前他們都真的會給予幫助、同在並付出愛。天上的父母─神和聖靈也是如此，傳道並栽培自己的信仰父母也是如此。
面對天上的靈的父母─神和聖靈時，要毫無遺憾地愛祂們、歸榮耀給祂們並且不讓祂們擔心。面對地上的父母時，作為子女也要毫無遺憾地為他們著想、服事他們並感謝他們。要為了父母親們的靈與肉禱告，並且傳道他們，讓他們進入永恆的屬天國度，如此盡孝道。至於已經離開世上的父母，則要為他們禱告，將他們的生命託付給 神。這就是最棒的孝道，是永遠的孝道。
讓我們對天上的靈的父母─神和聖靈、生下自己肉體後給予栽培和幫助的地上的父母以及傳道後栽培自己的信仰的父母表達感謝。對他們真摯地表達：
「真的謝謝你們、感謝你們。我會永遠不變地感謝您、愛著您。」
